I have a passion for stories - writing them, listening to them and sharing them. I began writing poetry in response to discovering a Romeo and Juliet textbook at the back of my English class when I was 12. I learnt great sections of script and fell in love with poetry and performance.

I love to creatively communicate through film and spoken word. I have worked with charities including Girls’ Brigade Ministries, Youthscape, Christian Aid and The Salvation Army to explore, through film, the subjects that young people are facing.

I speak in schools across the UK with the hope of inspiring, encouraging and challenging each young person that I meet.

I run ‘koko’ a multi award winning website for teenage girls which explores subjects such as identity, mental health, self-esteem and relationships. koko is part of Girls' Brigade Ministries.
